A sustainable toothpaste brand.
Leaf is a sustainable tube of toothpaste, made from layered paper and bioplastics.
Sketching
This project was based on packaging. During the first stages, my ideas spanned between pasta packaging, sauces and eventually my toothpaste tube.
Modelling
It was important to me that my tube did not stray too far from the 'normal' tubes seen in stores. To do this, I made sure that my tube could be squeezed, to retrieve all the toothpaste from inside. Not only is this useful to get your moneys worth, but it makes the customer feel more comfortable changing brands.
Other tests proved that the exterior, although made from paper, was still waterproof. Very important as it has to be kept in the bathroom.
