A short project in which I had to design a front of store display, using only paper.
The challenging part of this brief was the inability to use any other material other than paper. I decided that to make my design interesting, I had to somehow incorporate height and volume to make it stand out.
In order to do this, I had to research and create some geometric shapes for the paper to actually stand up. I found some interesting ideas based around the Bauhaus movement, and how they worked with ecologists to find strong forms in nature. The hexagon, found in beehives, was perfect for my design.
